Whitleigh
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

We known that anti-social behaviour can have a serious impact on community life, causing fear, anxiety, and isolation, affecting mental health, and disrupting daily routines. PARKING OUTSIDE OF SCHOOLS, pick up and drop off times can cause increased safety and risk to both children and parents. Issued 06 January 2026 |
The Whitleigh Policing Team are aware of the inconsiderate parking outside schools especially on yellow zigzag markings, “School Keep Clear” . The team over the last few months have asked politely for cars to move on sometime with angry responses from drivers. The yellow markings outside school are there for children’s safety and to prevent accidents by ensuring clear visibility for children crossing the road and for drivers. Actioned 06 January 2026 |
