Ongoing ASB in the area of Southway.

The Local Policing Team is aware of ongoing reports of antisocial behaviour (ASB) in the Southway area, including concerns relating to groups of young people gathering in public spaces, reports of nuisance behaviour, vandalism, littering, and issues affecting local community facilities. Police and partner agencies have received a number of reports from residents, community groups, and local organisations regarding these concerns.

We understand the impact that antisocial behaviour can have on the community and would like to reassure residents that this remains a priority for the local policing team. Working alongside Plymouth City Council, youth services, housing providers, and community organisations, officers have identified a number of individuals involved in reported incidents and have taken positive action where appropriate. This has included the use of antisocial behaviour warnings and other intervention measures aimed at reducing offending and improving community safety.

Electric bikes

Police are identifying the drivers of drivers on illegal electric bikes. Recently, police have apprehended a bike and brought this to the attention of the youth drivers parents. Police will continue to look to seize and take action against riders of illegal bikes.
