Mount Gould

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

DRUG USE/SUPPLY
YOUTH ASB-TARGETING PROPERTIES AT LOCATION WITH NUISANCE BEHAVIOUR

Issued 18 January 2026

The team have been actively targeting the issue of drug use and supply through good use of the intelligence system and utilisation of planned operations to target those that are actively engaged in the use and supply of drugs. This is to continue, with more operations being planned soon.

Youth Anti-Social Behaviour has been, and continues to be targeted by the team, working alongside the Child Centred Policing Team (CCPT). A recent spate of ASB where local youths have been engaged in causing harassment to local residents by targeting their home and vehicles, some sustaining damage has been a focus for the local team to bring the offenders to justice. As a result of good collaborative working with the CCPT, schools and parents several youths have been placed on the ASB process and with further remedial actions to follow should re-offending continue.

This work continues for the team.
