Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Drug use and supply in Greenbank

Issued 18 January 2026

Officers are increasing hi-visibility and plain clothed patrols at the location whilst engaging with licenced premises and the police licencing team around VAWG and the safety of females in attendance at the various drinking establishments, especially around the weekends where the attendances are higher.
Officers are actively making use of the Community Messaging platforms and Social Media to ensure public awareness is delivered on individuals staying safe whilst out for the evening and frequenting the pubs.

Coffee With Cops (CWC) have been conducted, with one recently taking place at The Box. CWC is a good opportunity for members of the community to pop in and chat with the local policing team and raise any concerns they may wish to discuss, or simply just to say hello.

Drug use and the supply of drugs is being actively targeted with planned operations, aided by specialist resources to tackle those engaged in this.

Actioned 20 January 2026
