Totnes Town
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

As we head into the summer months, we want everyone to enjoy the warmer weather safety and responsibly. While we welcome people making the most of our parks, open spaces and local events, anti-social behaviour, including underage drinking, will not be tolerated. We will continue working closely with partners, local businesses and the community to address issues quickly and keep our neighbourhoods safe and welcoming for all. Parents, guardians and residents can play an important role by helping young people to make positive choices. Lets work together to ensure everyone can enjoy a fun, respectful and safe summer. Issued 26 November 2026 |
Totnes Neighbourhood Team have already carried out patrols in areas of high crime and anti social behaviour. A number of arrests have been made and those individuals charged are currently going through the criminal justice system. Actioned 01 July 2026 |
