Totnes Town

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Please find contact details for your Neighbourhood Policing Team provided below.

Local Priority Issues

Priority Action taken

Our priority is to address anti-social behaviour, drug misuse, as well as dealing with individuals that trespass onto private land through a combination of prevention and community engagement. This is achieved by maintaining a visible and approachable presence to deter disruptive behaviour while reassuring the public.

Strengthening relationships within the community underpins all our priorities. Please report any matters of crime to police through the 101 system or DC alert account. Alternatively, come and meet a member of the Totnes neighbourhood team at one of the "Chat with a Cop" events listened on the community messaging site. Collaborative, community focused approach leads to a safer neighbourhood. #SaferTogether
