Kingsbridge Rural West

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Please find contact details for your Neighbourhood Policing Team provided below.

Local Priority Issues

Priority	Action taken
Anti-Social Behaviour - With the weather continuing to improve as we had into summer, we are aware of the likelihood of anti-social behaviour. We aim to carry out foot patrols of the affected areas and engage and enforce where necessary. If you are experiencing ASB in your area, please do report it to us via 101, the Kingsbridge Front Office or our email address NPS-IvybridgeandKingsbridge@devonandcornwall.police.uk. Issued 07 October 2026	No action
Increased foot patrol We are often asked by the public to be out and about on foot more: this is a clear aim over the Summer for us: it helps to drive down poor behaviour, helps the communities we police engage with us better and reassures the public. Issued 07 October 2026	No action
Shoplifting We are very aware of shoplifting incidents in the area. We will be engaging with our local shops affected to work together to drive this down. Issued 07 October 2026	No action
