Ivybridge Rural South

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Youth ASB in Sherford including illegal use of E-Scooters Issued 09 September 2025	Ivybridge Neighbourhood Team have carried out a number of patrols in Sherford focussing on the illegal use of E-Scooters and E-Bikes. We have been utilising extra officers from our Neighbourhood Support Team in order to increase public safety through education and, if necessary, enforcement for repeat offenders. We will continue these increased patrols in the run up to Christmas. Actioned 23 October 2025
Drink/drug driving around South Hams Issued 09 September 2025	Ivybridge Neighbourhood Officers have been out patrolling our local roads looking out for those under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and causing a risk to other road users. The Neighbourhood Team recently arrested an 81yr old male who was almost twice the drink drive limit. We will continue to prioritise those who commit harm on our roads in the lead up to Christmas.
