Ivybridge Rural North
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Youth ASB around Woolwell Issued 09 September 2025 |
Ivybridge Neighbourhood Teams have been carrying out extra patrols in Woolwell since the darker evenings have started drawing in. Following reports of isolated cases of youth ASB, when groups of teenagers have been 'cherry knocking'. Ivybridge Neighbourhood officers have linked in with local schools to identify those involved. Drink/ drug driving around South Hams Issued 09 September 2025 |
Ivybridge Neighbourhood Officers have been out patrolling our local roads looking out for those under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and causing a risk to other road users. The Neighbourhood Team recently arrested an 81yr old male who was almost twice the drink drive limit. We will continue to prioritise those who commit harm on our roads in the lead up to Christmas. Fly-tipping in rural South Hams Issued 09 September 2025 |
Ivybridge Neighbourhood Team have been liaising with local land owners, as well as Devon and Cornwall Police Rural Affairs Team, to identify and carry out target hardening patrols in locations which have experienced a large volume of fly tipping incidents Actioned 23 October 2025 |
