Okehampton Rural East

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Anti Social Behaviour We intend to act proportionately but robustly to support communities affected by anti social behaviour. We achieve this working in partnership with our safer communities partnership, social housing providers and local authority. Drugs We aim to deal swiftly and robustly to drug related activity reported within our neighbourhoods. To achieve this we require the support of our residents by reporting any concerns or suspicious activity to us. Rural Crime and engagement With West Devon having such a large Rural geographic area. This priority will enable us to show our activity in this area alongside our Rural Affairs Colleagues.
