Tiverton Rural
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Anti social driving and speeding within Tiverton Issued 07 October 2026 |

|
Identifying areas which suffer from the highest amounts of reported anti social behaviour and using a wide range of resources to tackle issues in those problem areas. Issued 07 October 2026 |
We have been successful in achieving an Anti social behaviour injunction for a youth who has been causing significant nuisance behaviour within Tiverton and this order will restrict their impact on the community. We will continue to work with partners including cctv operators in identifying ASB incidents early and engaging quickly to challenge people over their behaviour. Actioned 07 October 2026 |

Support the community safety partnership in delivering a unified response to patrolling the Tiverton Town Centre hotspot policing area. Issued 07 October 2026 |
We remain committed to policing the hotspot policing area in Tiverton. We continue to work closely with Mid Devon Council to identify areas where demand is the highest. We have been unsuccessful in achieving any further funding for the street marshals and their patrols have now stopped. We will, where possible increase our patrol hours within this area. Actioned 07 October 2026 |
