Lower Culm & Upper Culm
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Tackling priority and prolific offenders in Mid Devon Issued 07 October 2026 |
A number of individuals across Mid Devon have been arrested, charged and convicted for business crime offences with civil injunctions and criminal behaviour orders also being issued by the courts. We will continue to work with MDDC and Cullompton town council in identifying and tackling those individuals that cause the most harm and nuisance in our community. Actioned 07 October 2026 |

Identifying areas which suffer from the highest amounts of reported anti social behaviour and using a wide range of resources to tackle issues in those problem areas. Issued 07 October 2026 |
We have had a small number of anti social behaviour incidents reported to us in Cullompton and the current number of incidents remain low, with a year on year reduction. We will continue to work with Cullompton town council to respond to reports and further work will be undertaken to highlight how to report ASB incidents to the police and Mid Devon Council. We will also need to recognise the fear of crime and ASB within our local community and understand how we can better reassure the community of the relevant low levels of reporting in comparison to the perceived levels.
