Crediton Rural North
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Tackling priority and prolific offenders in Mid Devon Issued 01 July 2026 |
A number of individuals across Mid Devon have been arrested, charged and convicted for business crime offences and we are currently awaiting results from court in relation to Criminal behaviour order applications. We are currently exploring Anti social behaviour injunctions for several young people involved in persistent ASB around business premises. Actioned 01 July 2026 |
|
Identifying areas which suffer from the highest amounts of reported anti social behaviour and using a wide range of resources to tackle issues in those problem areas. Issued 01 July 2026 |
A number of issues were raised in Cullompton recently around Youth Anti social behaviour and therefore increased patrols were undertaken in the identified areas, including with the addition of officers from the Neighbourhood support team from Exeter. Actioned 01 July 2026 |
|
Support the community safety partnership in delivering a unified response to patrolling the Tiverton Town Centre hotspot policing area. Issued 01 July 2026 |
We remain committed to policing the hotspot policing area in Tiverton. We continue to work closely with Mid Devon Council and the street marshals. We do however recognise that the funding for the marshals is due to expire at the end of the summer so opportunities for further funding need to be explored. Actioned 01 July 2026 |
