Crediton Rural North

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Actioned 18 March 2026

Identifying areas which suffer from the highest amounts of reported anti social behaviour and using a wide range of resources to tackle issues in those problem areas.

Issued 18 March 2026

We will work with partner agencies and the Community Safety partnership to protect the most vulnerable within our communities and seek a wide range of resources to tackle the issues throughout these areas.

Actioned 18 March 2026

Support the community safety partnership in delivering a unified response to patrolling the Tiverton Town Centre hotspot policing area.

Issued 18 March 2026

Undertake joint patrols with street marshals and ensure that we work with the Mid Devon District Council to ensure that we modify patrol areas where additional capacity in patrolling hours are identified.
