Cowick & St Thomas

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Shop Theft – Reduce shop theft across Exeter sector
Drugs – increase positive outcomes for drug offences and decrease in drugs deaths across Exeter
Serious and Organised Crime – disrupt SOC activity in Exeter namely: sexual services, forced labour and forced criminality.
Evening and Nighttime Economy – Reduce related crime on Friday and Saturday evenings
Violence Against Women and Girls – reduce VWAG in the nighttime economy and target other VAWG perpetrators effectively
Exploitation – reduce incidents of cuckooing and increase positive outcomes with victims of exploitation
Anti-Social Behaviour – Residential – decrease ASB incidents in the residential areas
Anti-Social Behaviour – City Centre – decrease incidents of ASB in the city centre
