Mount Hawke & St Agnes

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Tier one 'Hotspot' Funding; Truro continues to use its share of additional funding to actively and routinely patrol the city centre. This is in conjunction with partners; ASB Officer Lennon and the city 'Rangers'.
The team have had a meeting with our 'Specialist Problem Solver' to review reporting and our response. They have also considered what other options, such as, civil powers, might be available as part of the wider problem solving.
On 7th November the Chief Constable held an event, in Truro, with business owners and partners to discuss ASB and other issues. This resulted in healthy debate and included problem solving ideas for consideration over the coming weeks.

Officers parked the 'mobile police station' in St Mawes to enable us to speak to our communities. We also utilised the van on the 'piazza' in Truro during the recent food festival.
