We have launched 'walk and talk' in the area which is an initiative where females can pair up with a female officer to show them where in the locality they do not feel safe. We will then work with partners to try and make this better.
We also continue to work closely with partners to ensure that we are not only pursuing criminals but looking at where we can prevent crime from happening.

Hotspot Policing is in place with officers carrying out daily high visibility foot patrols in Hotspot locations with a focus on Anti-Social Behaviour.
We are working closely with the ASB officers around Anti-Social behaviour escalation and ensuring support is in place where needed.
Over the past 3 months we have carried out several shoplifting operations in the sector and issued numerous CBO's to prolific offenders to try and curb the offending behaviour.
We will continue to be highly visible in the community and focus on those who repeatedly commit crime and cause the community harm.

Dangerous Drugs Networks including Organised Crime and Exploitation

We continue to conduct drugs warrants in the locality to disrupt and pursue those dealing drugs. We conducted a warrant in Camborne where £85,000 worth of class A drugs were seized and the 19 year old offender was given a custodial prison sentence.
We also conducted a further drugs warrant where £9,000 street value of class A drugs were located and again the offender received a custodial prison sentence.
We will continue to focus on Dangerous Drugs Networks that cause the highest harm to those impacted.
