St Stephen & St Dennis
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

With the recent good weather we have had a rise in ASB issues being reported, some of these incident have been reported while they are ongoing which has allowed us to attend, identify the persons who have been causing the issues and deal with them via the ASB process. Actioned 01 May 2026 |

With our key partners we are working to safeguard members of the community who are at risk of serious harm by exploitation. Exploitation can take many forms, it can relate to finances, relationships, housing or to being asked/forced to do things for a another that puts a person at great risk of harm. We have been working with our partners and have together identified a number of children and vulnerable adults who are possibly being exploited. Measures are being put in place to safeguard these people and to also deal with the persons who are exploiting them. Actioned 01 May 2026 |

St Austell Neighbourhood Team are working proactively to tackle illicit drug use and drug dealing within our communities. Working in partnership we are going to be targeting addresses and locations that evidence suggest are linked to drug use/dealing. The harm that drugs cause to our communities is unacceptable, please help us to address this issue. If you have any information that may assist us please report it to us via our website or via Crime Stoppers. Issued 02 April 2026 |
The Neighbourhood Team at St Austell are currently reviewing and developing the information that has been provided to by you the members of the community. Using this we are conducting high-visibility patrols in areas where we have been told there is drug related activity. We are also using this information to apply to the courts for premise search warrants to directly target addresses suspected to be involved in drug dealing. Actioned 01 May 2026 |
