Grampound & Mevagissey
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

With our key partners we are working to safeguard members of the community who are at risk of serious harm by exploitation. Exploitation can take many forms, it can relate to finances, relationships, housing or to being asked/forced to do things for a another that puts a person at great risk of harm. We have been working with our partners and have together identified a number of children and vulnerable adults who are possibly being exploited. Measures are being put in place to safeguard these people and to also deal with the persons who are exploiting them. Actioned 02 June 2026 |

St Austell Neighbourhood Team are working proactively to tackle illicit drug use and drug dealing within our communities. Working in partnership we are going to be targeting addresses and locations that evidence suggest are linked to drug use/dealing. The harm that drugs cause to our communities is unacceptable, please help us to address this issue. Over the past four weeks the Team have applied to the Courts and obtained four separate warrants to search premises under the Misuse of Drugs Act. All of these warrants have been positive and robust action has been taken with the persons who reside or were connected with these premises. More warrants are planned, please continue to share any information that may be of assistance to us. Actioned 02 June 2026 |
