Newquay Suburbs
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Newquay Police are committed to combating drugs and organised Crime. This means reviewing community intelligence, carrying out regular patrols, applying for warrants when appropriate and carrying out disruption activity. Issued 01 April 2026 |

Newquay Police are committed to supporting the Violence against Women and Girls agenda. This means we have provided information in conjunction with the license Premises around spiking, provided high visibility patrols around the night time economy and supported the introduction of the Night bus, which services the local community by providing a safe route home. Issued 01 April 2026 |
Continued work with the Council, licensed premises and other agencies to make sure information is shared around our activity. Prevention activity including raising awareness around drink spiking and ongoing work to ensure we have the 'Night bus' service running again through the summer months. This provides a service to the local community to makes sure people can get in and out of the night time economy safely. Actioned 30 April 2026 |
