Newquay Town
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

The Neighbourhood team are dealing with a number of Anti Social Behaviour matters involving a number of People in East Street Newquay. This is near to the Post Office and includes both their behaviour around businesses and residential properties. We are using both criminal and civil powers to combat the problem and have already made significant in roads to dealing. Issued 01 October 2025 |

Newquay Police are committed to supporting the Violence against Women and Girls agenda. This means we have provided information in conjunction with the license Premises around spiking, provided high visibility patrols around the night time economy and supported the introduction of the Night bus, which services the local community by providing a safe route home. Newquay Police are committed to combating drugs and organised Crime. This means reviewing community intelligence, carrying out regular patrols, applying for warrants when appropriate and carrying out disruption activity. Issued 01 October 2025 |
Numerous disruptive activity has taken place. More recently a dealer was sentenced at Truro Crown Court for their part in organised crime and deported to their nation of origin. Actioned 11 November 2025 |
