Wadebridge Town
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Anti-Social Behaviour Issued 04 January 2026 |
We have continued to rigorously monitor our recently obtained closure order in Wadebridge to ensure compliance. Orders like these have a huge impact on the community after significant issues leading to them being obtained in the first place. We take reports of ASB very seriously, and would encourage anyone if they are a victim of personal, environmental, or nuisance ASB to report to us. We work closely with partners to ensure long-term solutions are established. Actioned 06 March 2026 |

Drugs Issued 04 January 2026 |
The Bodmin Sector Neighbourhood Team are proactively looking to tackle issues around illicit drug use and the negative impacts that this has upon our communities. We completed a successful operation in Padstow this week whereby 2 people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. They have been released pending further enquiries. If you have information that could help us take more illegal drugs off the street please report it to us or anonymously to CrimeStoppers. Actioned 06 March 2026 |

Shoplifting and Retail Crime Issued 04 January 2026 |
The Bodmin Sector Neighbourhood Team are proactively tackling prolific offenders within our town centres. We have been actively patrolling both Wadebridge and Padstow town centres over the past month, engaging with Retail Workers, improving our relationships to ensure better information sharing and a more informed response to reports of shoplifting.
