Shoplifting and Retail Crime Issued 04 April 2026 |
Shoplifting offences are down 22.5% compared to this time last year. This is credit to the hard work we have done with shop workers to investigate reports of shoplifting. We continue to work closely with our retail partners to identify individuals who are causing disruption to this sector of our economy, and more locally our highstreets and shops. We have recently arrested, charged, and remanded to prison a repeat offender targeting supermarkets across Bodmin which has been well received by stores across the town. Actioned 07 May 2026 |
