Bodmin St Marys
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

We have continued to rigorously monitor and check the compliance of last months two closure orders to maintain compliance of these court court orders, safeguarding our local communities in the doing so. We continue to patrol our hotspots in Bodmin with the addition of the Street Marshals, so please look out for us if you see us out and about! Actioned 09 February 2026 |

The Bodmin Sector Neighbourhood Team are proactively looking to tackle issues around illicit drug use and the negative impacts that this has upon our communities. We encourage our residents to report information to the Police or Crime Stoppers so that the information can be gathered, assessed, and inform us around our patrols and operations in the future. Shoplifting and Retail Crime Issued 04 January 2026 |
A Prolific Shoplifter from Bodmin Town Centre was charged and remanded with multiple offences of shoplifting and associated breaches of a Criminal Behaviour Order. We have been working incredibly closely with retail managers to ensure that swift evidence gathering puts us in the best position to bring offenders to justice! Actioned 09 February 2026 |
