Bodmin St Marys
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Devon and Cornwall.

Anti-Social Behaviour Issued 04 October 2025 |
We take reports of Anti-Social Behaviour very seriously. We work closely with our partners to problem-solve situations to ensure that offenders are brought to justice where appropriate and necessary, diversionary work is implemented, and support is given to those who need it. Bodmin Town Centre has most recently seen the introduction of Street Marshals as part of the government's hotspot policing funding to make town centres feel safer and this has led to an increase in intelligence, and a decrease in offending since they have been installed! The Bodmin Sector Neighbourhood Team are proactively looking to tackle issues around illicit drug use and the negative impacts that this has upon our communities. We encourage our residents to report information to the Police or Crime Stoppers so that the information can be gathered, assessed, and inform us around our patrols and operations in the future. The Bodmin Sector Neighbourhood Team are proactively tackling prolific offenders within our town centres. We are passionate about reducing the impact of these crime types across our town centres of Bodmin, Wadebridge, and Padstow. We have recently been successful in obtaining 2 Criminal Behaviour Orders against our most prolific offenders, enabling us to take action against any further offending. Actioned 04 October 2025 |
