Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a road traffic collision involving a van and a child in Plymouth. Officers were called at around 4.35pm on Tuesday 15 September following a report of the collision on Wolseley Road. The collision involved a 14-year-old female pedestrian and a white Peugeot Expert Van. The girl was taken to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. Her injuries have since been determined not to be life-threatening or life-changing. The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. Officers from the Roads Policing team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed. A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, driving with eyesight which did not comply with requirements and using a motor vehicle in a condition likely to cause injury. He has been released under investigation.
