MISSING | Have you seen Teresa?

We are appealing for the public's help to locate Teresa McCarthy, aged 66, who is missing from Surrey and believed to be in the Dawlish and wider South Devon area.

Teresa was last heard from on 7th August and is believed to have access to her mobile phone. She is thought to be travelling independently using public transport and may also be seeking shelter in parks, public open spaces, transport hubs, and beachfront locations.

She is described as white, approximately 5ft 4ins tall, of a medium build, with grey hair in a cropped cut.

She has glasses, which she wears on her head. She is wearing a light grey hooded pull over top that has drawstrings, and black 3/4 length leggings. She is wearing flip flops. She has a black backpack and is pulling a larger bag on wheels that has what looks like a sleeping bag and roll mat strapped to either side. She is also carrying a black coat on this bag.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen Teresa recently, spoken with her, or believes they may know her current whereabouts.

Police are also asking local businesses, transport staff, support services, healthcare providers, and members of the public in the Dawlish and South Devon area to remain vigilant and report any potential sightings.
