It was fantastic to be part of the Helston Community Fire Station Annual Open Day on Sunday 2nd August 2026 and see such an incredible turnout from the local community, with hundreds of people attending throughout the day. The event showcased the very best of partnership working, bringing together emergency services, local organisations and residents for a fun-filled family day.

A huge thank you to Tri-Service Officer Whittingham and PCSO Whitford, who staffed our police stand, engaging with visitors of all ages, providing crime prevention advice and answering questions from the public.

Events like these are a great opportunity to strengthen relationships with our communities, share safety messages and highlight the work being carried out by our emergency services every day.
