Courier Fraud: Don’t Be Fooled

☎️ The phone rings.

The caller says they’re from your bank or the police. They tell you your account is at risk and ask you to help with an urgent investigation.

Then comes the catch…

They ask you to withdraw cash, reveal personal information, or hand over your bank card to a courier.

🚨 It’s a scam.

Warning Signs

Unexpected calls from your bank or the police.

Requests for your PIN, password, or security details.

Pressure to act quickly.

Being told to keep the call secret.

Someone sent to collect money, cards, or valuables.

Stay Safe

✅ Hang up if you’re unsure.

✅ Contact your bank using a trusted number.

✅ Never share your PIN or passwords.

✅ Never hand over cash, cards, or valuables to a courier.

Remember

Banks and police will never ask you to:

Reveal your PIN.

Withdraw money for them.

Hand over your bank card.

Give money or valuables to a courier.

Stop. Think. Verify.

If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and check before you act.

Don’t let fraudsters deliver a scam to your door.
