Devonport Neighbourhood policing team were invited to the careers fair at Stoke Dameral Community College and Scott Medical Healthcare College. We were there with other employers providing information about future career opportunities. The policing team, included a Police officer, Police community police officer and resource officer.
We provided details of different pathways of how to get into policing, as well as different avenues you can take once you're in.
The school hall was buzzing with enthusiastic students, asking sensible and forwarding thinking questions. It was great to see the youth engaging with the police and so many excited about a possible career.
