GAS OUTAGE

Good afternoon, 

As you will no doubt be aware, the Kingsbridge and Salcombe areas are experiencing a gas outage. Our colleagues at Wales and West Utility are working hard to reconnect the gas supply to all affected. 

To reiterate their message, please can you ensure someone is available at your home address or business address to reset the gas supply.

If you are on the Priority Service Register, you should be contacted by a member of their staff for alternative cooking and heating appliances.

If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999.

To add to this:

If you have a vulnerable neighbour or family member please take the time to check in on them.

A number of local community centres and groups are opening up their buildings as warm spaces, so keep an eye on local social media.

If you are concerned about someone's welfare and you have exhausted all avenues of contacting them, then please contact emergency services.
