Neighbourhood Support Team

Last week Bodmin Neighbourhood made some proactive arrests to better benefit the town and community.

Using our Neighbourhood Support Team we conducted Plain clothed patrols in Town. Units detained a male in possession of a knife. He was arrested and bailed with conditions not to enter Cornwall.

The team also arrested a prolific female targeting elderly residents. She was arrested on suspicion of Burglary.

We also arrested a Prolific offender for multiple Breaches of his Criminal Behaviour Order. He has been remanded to appear in Court on Monday. Hopefully we can provide an update.

Our Traffic Team at Bodmin have also been out dealing with noisy mopeds. Last weekend our traffic colleagues stopped two mopeds at 2300 hours. One had an aftermarket exhaust. The other had no exhaust at all! Both drivers reported for traffic offences along with Section 59 Notices.

If they cause any further Anti-Social behaviour we can seize their vehicles.
