Burglary to a business's Barnstaple area

Police received five reports from construction sites throughout the Barnstaple area that they were burgled overnight 12th November. The suspects broke locks, used metal grinders, broke through fences and stole items such as brass fittings, generator's, copper pipe, disc cutters, drills, batteries, jigsaws and rip saws. 
If you own any tools, run a construction site, are a general builder etc, please be aware of anyone offering ‘cheap’ tools for sale. 
Prevention strategies could include, security systems, cctv, forensic marking, security guard, powerful lighting and improved fencing.
