Neighbourhood Policing

On the evening of Friday 15th August the Neighbourhood Team had the assistance of the Devon and Cornwall Police's drone team as part their summer policing patrols in St Austell Bay and Par. The drone team's ability to cover such a large area with a such a high camera resolution was invaluable.

The drone team spoke to a number of members of the local community about the team's capabilities which was well received. The members of Neighbourhood Team who were completing patrols in the area during the evening noted no ongoing anti social behaviour.

We will be utilising the drone team in other areas of St Austell and St Blazey over the remaining weekends in August.
