Patrols

Good morning,

This is a message to update you about some of the Patrols we conducted yesterday.

Yesterday PC Darren Saint and I were on foot patrol in St Ives, then walked to Carbis Bay. From Carbis Bay we continued on foot towards Lelant on the main road, before checking the coastal areas, including areas of dunes and coastal paths, before we headed back, going through both Carbis Bay and St Ives train stations.

This long and varied patrol meant we could check different areas, engage with a lot of different people while walking through and check for any signs of problems such as parties, unlicensed music events, littering, fly tipping or fires. It also allowed us to provide a visible Police presence and deterrence for areas that may not have as much Policing presence, compared to places such as the town centre.

Today I am hoping to spend several hours on foot in St Ives, Carbis Bay and Lelant, as long as I'm able to. If you see me please say hello or give me a wave. I would be very happy to meet you and have a chat about any concerns you have.
